DaikyoNishikawa Commences 312.5kW Solar Power System Operation at headquarters

DaikyoNishikawa Corporation (hereinafter referred to as DaikyoNishikawa) has introduced a solar power generation system on the slope of its headquarters as part of its environmental initiatives aimed at achieving carbon neutrality, and it commenced operation June.

The large-scale solar power generation by on-site PPA is a follow-up to the installation of 1.38 MW at Honsha plant in February this year.

As part of its commitment to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, DaikyoNishikawa has set an interim target to reduce CO2 emissions by 50% compared to those in FY2013 by 2030, actively promoting energy saving measures and the introduction of renewable energy.

With the operation of this solar power generation system, an annual reduction of approximately 175 tons of CO2 emissions is expected.
